Robert Schnase’s Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations (Abingdon) has been revised and updated to include ministry inside and outside the walls of the church.  Schnase summarizes the book in Ministry Matters.  The Lewis Center for Church Leadership provides a podcast with Schnase.

Stories of God at Home (Church) by Jerome Berryman shows how to weave together Godly Play stories and family narratives in the practice of relational storying.

The Beloved Community StorySharing Guidebook, a free download from The Episcopal Church, helps faith communities share stories of faith, race, and difference, offering prompts, designs and techniques.

Carol A. Wehrheim updates her booklet, The Baptism of Your Child:  A Book for Presbyterian Families (WJKP), and introduces an ecumenical version.  Both editions are also available in packs of five.  Baptism Promises, a board book for ages 2-4 by Wehrheim, will release in September.

Sexual Abuse & the Church is a free conversation guide with articles, discussion questions and a list of faith-based resources from The Christian Century.

ChurchNext and Trinity Wall Street are offering a free, five-part video class on the Book of Revelation with Michael Battle.  Battle is the author of Heaven on Earth:  God’s Call to Community in the Book of Revelation (WKJP, 2017).
