Amy-Jill Levine’s Entering the Passion of Jesus:  A Beginner’s Guide to Holy Week (Abingdon) is a six-session DVD study accompanied by a leader guide.  Levine also offers Short Stories by Jesus, a DVD study on the parables.

T.B.D.: Mission (Sparkhouse) is a four-session DVD study for grades 9-11, with a companion facilitator guide and student journal.  It joins T.B.D.: Prayer and T.B.D.: Sin.

Picture Book Theology recommends A Savior is Born:  Rocks Tell the Story of Christmas (Zondervan) by Patti Rokus and other holiday books.  Rokus shares videos, DIY guides and more at Rocks Tell Stories.  A book for Easter is forthcoming.

Revive Us Again:  Vision and Action in Moral Organizing  (Beacon) by William J. Barber II and others includes his sermons and speeches with response essays from faith leaders.  Barber is president of Repairers of the Breach.

Journey with Jesus collects poetry for Advent, featuring Denise Levertov’s On the Mystery of the Incarnation this week.

I Wonder as I Wander:  The Twelve Days of Christmas with Madeline L’Engle (Anamchara) by Bruce Epperly joins his The Work of Christmas:  The Twelve Days of Christmas with Howard Thurman (Anamchara, 2017).  Epperly is the author of The Mystic in You (Upper Room).
