Six New Things

Check six ministry resources in this weekly post.

A free screening of Angst, a documentary about anxiety, at Plymouth Congregational Church May 30 will be followed by a conversation on how the church can better support children, youth, and families living with mental health challenges. The film’s website offers resources.  This is a ConNext Community event.

An Infoguide to The Lord’s Prayer:  An Illustrated Curriculum from Illustrated Children’s Ministry is available.  This resource launches next week.

Maybe I Can Love My Neighbor Too (Beaming) by Jennifer Grant is a follow-up to her Maybe God is Like That Too (2017) for ages 3-8.  Downloadable activities accompany the book.

In We Will Feast (Eerdmans), Kendall Vanderslice explores the practice of eating together as Christian worship.  She writes a monthly newsletter on food and faith, Edible Theology.

Cindy Merten offers practical tips and helpful resources for welcoming children with disabilities and their families in Everybody’s Church?

Fortress press introduces resources on the Bible from Nick Page and Peter Walker.

Please note:  The Resource Center for Churches is offering a large selection of curriculum, DVDs and print material that we have removed from our collection to our member churches.  Visit us in the Minnesota Church Center May 21-23.
See the Six New Things archive.  It’s searchable.  Contact us with any resource questions:  info@rcc-mn.org.  As of May 20, our hours will be noon-4:00, Tuesday through Thursday.
